I love to sing as most people do and I have done my fair share of singing over the years but now I am looking more to creating songs for other people to sing. Over the years I have written jingles, country songs, pop songs, rock songs and of course, love songs. I have written songs for weddings and funerals, anniversary's and other celebratons.

 

I started writing poems as a young girl and then I taught myself to play the guitar (very badly) - I have always had a fascination for conveying meaning using language. I don't write to vent my own problem or emotions so I take a story or a comment or something that I've observed and make it a song and my hope is that when you listen to my songs you can relate to them. The lyrics are as important as the music to me and together they make an inviting soundscape - I have had many influences over the years, fascinated with Bjork, intrigued with the Cranberry's, wooed by Sarah McLachlan and my love of Australian artists and their style of writing has brought out an extraordinary eclectic  range and style of songs.
